One would think that two accomplished wrestlers like Bayley and Lyra Valkyria would be incapable of having a bad match together.

They would be wrong.

The two women had a disappointing battle on Raw that largely played to silence, with several missed connections, awkward exchanges, and uninspired sequences. The match felt like it was wrestled at 0.75 speed, including spots where you could see the strings as clear as day (Lyra monkey-flipping Bayley into the corner developed so slowly that they might as well have narrated the exchange like it was a training video).

Even the finish was extremely awkward, with Valkyria finally tripping Bayley into the middle rope throat first (allegedly) before rolling her up with the tights for the win.

For what was supposed to be a blood feud of sorts, neither woman looked like she wanted to be there wrestling this match, and that came through in the work.
