2. Make It End

When the Miz/Dexter Lumis/Johnny Gargano saga finally ends, just remember that all of this was building for months just to lead to… a Lumis wrestling match against Miz.

When this whole ordeal started, it was intriguing, but it had plotholes the size of a truck to drive through. But many gave it the benefit of the doubt. After all, surely Triple H had a plan. Then Gargano got dragged into it as a smarmy, whistle-blowing (literally) “babyface” who has become more unlikeable by the week.

And then the big twist comes, and it’s… Miz was paying Lumis to kidnap him to get sympathy. And hey, Miz gave an over-the-top performance Monday night that itself deserves an award for how he went full ham. But this story is past its sell-by date, and it’s leading to a match that will be pedestrian at best – unless Dexter has suddenly become a much more entertaining in-ring performer.

It just feels like this is going to land with a thud, and it’s going to feel like a huge waste of time, rather than something productive these past three months.
