5. Rollins Gutting It Out

What can you say about Seth Rollins’ decision to soldier on to WrestleMania 40 to defend the World Heavyweight Championship?

A torn MCL and meniscus very likely aren’t going to heal themselves – he’s going to need surgery to fully recover. But rather than relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship Monday night, Rollins announced he is going to rehab like crazy in an attempt to walk into Mania to defend the title.

It’s an admirable effort by Seth, and a completely understandable decision. The opportunity to actually main event a night of WrestleMania doesn’t come along often, and having it ripped away due to a freak injury in a meaningless title defense against Jinder Mahal would be the ultimate insult.

Time will tell if Rollins indeed is able to make it to April and suit up, but the fact he’s going to try to gut it out during the next two-plus months says a lot about his mindset.
