6 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (19 Jan)

Downs...

5. One Step Back

Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz, now known as Fire N Flava, becoming the first Knockouts Tag Team Champions of this era was the right result, no questions asked. Demoting them to meaningless backstage skits involving Brian Myers, Fallah Bahh, Alisha Edwards, and, of all people, referee Brandon Tolle, though? This wasn't it.

Hogan and Steelz spent time offering silver, gold, and platinum packages to lower-ranked Impact roster members, inviting them to their Fire N Flava Fest celebration next week, although these invitations seemed to immediately sell out as soon as Havok and Neveah asked to be on the guest list. Instead, the other finalists were offered the copper package - meaning they have to watch it on their television at home.

That was literally it. There's nothing else to say about this, other than that Fire N Flava should be doing a lot more in the aftermath of them lifting the titles. A rematch with Havok and Nevaeh is seemingly on the books, but we don't need these backstage skits.
