6 Ups & 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 20)
3. The 'Zo Train Derails

Your mileage may vary on Enzo Amore's Cruiserweight Championship run, but he and his gang of heel allies have been largely entertaining over the past few weeks, with Drew Gulak standing out particularly strong. They laid a giant egg last night however, offering two of Raw's most turgid segments.
It started when Enzo, Gulak, Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, and Noam Dar addressed the crowd. Amore bragged about his win over Kalisto at Survivor Series, then divided into some of the worst material in Vince McMahon's Big Book O' Bad Insults when confronted by 205 Live's babyfaces. This inevitably led to a crowded 5-on-5 tag bout that featured no meaningful action, and largely revolved around the good guys running after Enzo before Mustafa Ali scored the pin.
Tensions are brewing, but developments like this won't do anything to convince viewers to watch 205 Live. They're bland, soulless, and unimaginative. Letting Enzo's personality shine was the right decision, but what's the point in having him as the figurehead if WWE are to continue polluting the lowly cruiserweight division with stuff like this?
