2. More Final Testament Nonsense

By now, it’s safe to conclude that the Final Testament is a dismal failure for the company.

The group spent a couple weeks trying to corrupt Xaver Woods, to no avail. Authors of Pain got build up a bit in the process, defeating New Day recently… only for Awesome Truth to get the win because AOP is a useless duo in a stable of losers. No, seriously.

WWE simultaneously wants fans to believe that AOP is a lethal tag team that can’t be beaten, while at the same time, they want you to accept that they’re susceptible to R-Truth’s never-ending bad comedy act, which continued Monday night.

The result was a tag match that did nothing for either team, with the tag champs continuing to be a goofy duo that falls ass backwards into victory, and AOP being a team of killers, except when the lights are brightest. Then, they stumble about and ultimately fail.

It also can’t be understated that Final Testament really is viewing “corrupting Woods” as more important than winning tag gold. Their focus was mainly on convincing Xavier that Kofi Kingston being off the apron when Woods needed a tag one time was proof that Kofi has been holding Woods back. They even talked about a tag title match in terms of winning and then getting back to what’s really important: corrupting Xavier.
