6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (11 Sept)

2. Who Is Seth Rollins?

If fans are to believe Seth Rollins’ promo, the person we’re seeing on television now – the man in garish get-ups conducting fans to “sing” his theme – is the real him, not the guy in the Authority, or the Messiah, or anything else.

B-b-but, Rollins is still dressing like he did when he was as he called himself, “a façade” of a man, and he’s calling himself a visionary and a revolutionary, as he did when he was the Messiah character.

Thinking about this too much makes your head hurt. The point here is that Rollins trying to explain away his negative characteristics from years past by saying he “didn’t know who I was,” so he tried to be everything was pretty lame.

Also, calling yourself the workhorse champion when you’ve had one televised match in the past month isn’t exactly truth-in-advertising. And way to stand up for Ricochet, who had your back last week, just standing idly by in the ring while your rival beats him up.

When compared to the Intercontinental Championship during the past month, there’s no argument which is the ‘A’ title on Raw.
