3. American Made Falters AGAIN

Chad Gable with a masked alter-ego has the potential to be a great angle, as his first two appearances have been pretty good so far. But the rest of his American Made stable is coming across as little more than a bunch of losers who can’t get the job done.

First, Ivy Nile lost to Dakota Kai despite having her entire team at ringside trying to get her the upper hand. She got distracted by Gable being chased off by the LWO and quickly fell to Kai in a match that was little more than window dressing for the angle.

Later, the Creed Brothers versus the LWO had some potential to be a fun, energetic match with a few jaw-dropping spots, but that’s not what fans got. The two teams throttled down on the offense a good bit, turning in a pretty standard tag match between them, well below what was possible. Worse, the Creeds, who have been on a quest for gold at Gable’s direction fell relatively easily to the LWO, showing how low on the pecking order they are.

Considering the talent in this stable, it really is astonishing that American Made continues to punching bags for everyone else, despite Gable getting a storyline of his own that might end up being successful – and given how good Chad has been at making chicken salad out of chicken sh**, it stands to reason he could deliver with a fun story like this.
