Arm wrestling matches are a staple of sports entertainment TV, but they very rarely are memorable for the right reasons. Some are downright cringeworthy, and most are skippable.

That’s why Monday’s bout between Bobby Lashley and Omos was good for being mercifully short. In a backstage interview, Lashley at least showed he anticipated an attack from his challenger and/or manager MVP. But even after winning the predictable back-and-forth match, the 2-on-1 factor was too much for Lashley.

Omos’ beatdown was fine for what it was, with the Colossus using the table to bash Lashley several times before leaving. Knowing Omos’ limitations, this worked fine to keep the feud going, and it showed that while Lashley might have a slight edge, Omos has an X-factor in MVP.

So yeah, we’ll say that this worked OK for what it was.
