6 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (Dec 12 - Review)
1. Kevin Owens Doesn’t Forget
Who says WWE doesn’t do long-term storytelling?
God bless Kevin Owens, who turned a backstage interview segment into gold Monday night. Elias approached KO and asked him to be in his corner during the troubadour’s match against Solo Sikoa, given how the Bloodline’s Enforcer took out Matt Riddle last week.
Owens’ response was glorious, as he ranted at Elias about his months-long deception, pretending to be his own cleanshaven brother Ezekiel, mentally tormenting KO. When Elias insisted that Ezekiel was his real brother, Owens referred back to when Elias smashed him with a guitar, showing that grudges and attacks shouldn’t just be forgotten.
Later on, when Sikoa and Sami Zayn had wrapped a steel chair around Elias’ head and were about to put him on the shelf, Owens ran down and hit a Stunner on Solo, sending both men fleeing.
But not to be mistaken that all was well, KO quickly hit a Stunner on Elias as well. Just pure gold.
