It took what seems like forever, but Alexa Bliss finally said something related to winning and losing matches.

Since she had returned, the former five-time women’s champion has been meandering about in a happy-to-be-here mindset, carrying Lilly and putting on lacklustre matches.

But Monday, Alexa cut a backstage promo where she made a comment about Lilly being #1 at WWEshop.com, and then looked right at the camera and said, “Now let me tell you when I’m #1.” She proceeded to warn both Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair that both better watch their backs, because she was reclaiming her position at the top of the women’s division.

Then Bliss went out and defeated Doudrop despite Nikki ASH’s interference. That was simple and clean, and it gave Alexa purpose for the first time since she returned. She showed more character that fans can rally behind than she had at any point in the past two-plus months.
