6 Ups & 6 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 5)
2. It's His Time
Moose is a bit of an odd character in Impact Wrestling, in the sense that sometimes he's on the roll of his career in the company, whereas other times he's losing matches where he really should've come out on top. This match with Willie Mack came under the former term, with 'Mr Impact Wrestling' picking up the victory over the master of the Six Star Frog Splash.
It was surprising that Mack didn't come out on top in this one considering some of the offence he was busting out during this one, including a beautiful stunner and a Samoan drop. In the end though, Moose connected with a Steve Austin-esque stun gun and finished things off with his spear, now known as the Jackhammer. Undoubtedly, the right winner here.
It wasn't one of the best matches of the year. Still, it was a decent opening match to the show with both men getting in a decent amount of their arsenal. Moose has all the potential to be a huge force in Impact Wrestling. He just needs to win a few more matches, and then he could very well be a future World Champion.
