6 Ups & 6 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (May 10)

3. Who Needed The Win?

With the World Tag Team Championships now once again around their waists, Ortiz and Santana were featured in the opening match of the evening opposite Moose and Josh Alexander, a match that they went on to win. In fairness, they've just regained the championships two weeks ago at Rebellion. But in the long run, Moose and Alexander could've done with the win more than The LAX.

Even though Josh wasn't teaming with his regular partner Ethan Page as part of The North, The Walking Weapon would've benefited hugely from a victory over a current set of champions in Impact Wrestling. While Moose has achieved a fair share throughout his Impact career thus far, Alexander is new to the promotion. If he'd picked up the win here against the champions, it would've boosted him right up the rankings in Impact.

The LAX do need some new challengers for their titles with The Lucha Bros heading for All Elite Wrestling - while they may have found them later on in the show, The North need to be in consideration for the titles at some stage. They're too good not to be. They just need to pick up those victories.
