2. Cut-And-Paste Triple Threat

Fans would be forgiven if they were experiencing déjà vu on Monday night when watching the main event: a triple threat featuring one of the babyfaces vying to gain access to the Money in the Bank ladder match, only to be thwarted by Seth Rollins’ heel stable.

Unlike last week’s action-packed battle, Monday’s triple threat suffered from being the second one in the series, so it came across more as an inferior copy, right down to Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed pulling the babyface out of the ring before the three count, and the other babyfaces running down to ringside to trigger a brawl on the floor.

In this week’s version, El Grande Americano loaded up his mask to headbutt AJ Styles as he attempted the Phenomenal Forearm, picking up the win and denying CM Punk a spot in Money in the Bank. Last week, it was Rollins stomping Finn Balor’s head off a steel chair for the win to rebuff Sami Zayn.

And once again, Raw ended with one faction standing tall in the ring – this time, it was Rollins’ group. It’s simply too much lather, rinse, repeat with this main event angle at this point.
