6 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (7 Sept - Results & Review)
3. Reed Flattens Oba AGAIN
The debate over who is the future of WWE might be between Bron Breakker and Oba Femi, but the conversation over the past 48 hours has to focus a bit on the tremendous physique of Bronson Reed.
The big Aussie might not be targeted for WrestleMania main events, but he definitely has made an impact since returning, and he’s looked incredible while doing it. Sheering about 90 pounds off his frame during his six months away, Reed squashed Oba with four Tsunami splashes at Sunday Night’s Main Event to seemingly put The Ruler on the shelf.
Monday night on Raw, Reed again threw himself into the middle of a Vision match, attacking Otis and helping to take out both members of Alpha Academy. This drew out a wounded Femi, who valiantly fought everyone until the numbers game caught up to him. Breakker speared Oba twice, and Reed hit two more Tsunamis to reinjure his ribs.
It’s pretty clear that Bronson is being positioned as a barrier between Oba and Bron while wreaking havoc on behalf of The Vision, but that doesn’t mean that Reed can’t turn some heads along the way. His presence also helps legitimize the group, having a killer in the mix who can back up the rhetoric besides Breakker.
