2. The Women Got There

From the opening bell, the Women’s World Championship match looked like it was in a bit of trouble. Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer seemed to be going through the motions, just cycling through some spots and moves until a screwy finish.

Thankfully, they pulled it together and ended up having a pretty decent little match, with Vaquer dialing up the aggression. When Morgan went for a sunset bomb off the apron, Stephanie blocked it and dropped a knee on her chest on the apron. Then she delivered a Devil’s Kiss on the announce desk, hit a diving crossbody, and facewashed Liv with her boot.

Morgan fought back, but she was on the verge of defeat when Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez ran down for the interference, allowing Liv to waffle Vaquer with the title and drill her with Oblivion for the win, thus proving Becky Lynch (who tried to help Stephanie) right.

A strong second half with a finish that advanced the team-up story between Becky and Stephanie makes this an easy “up” for the night.
