6 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (June 21)

4. Oh Look, Another Distraction Finish

When the Viking Raiders interfered in AJ Styles’ match by attacking Omos, there was a certain logic to it. But in Randy Orton/John Morrison’s qualifying match, things just went off the rails.

Morrison was having a decent little match, targeting Orton’s arm and hanging with the 14-time world champion, until Miz sprayed Randy with the drip stick (don’t ask) as he set up for the RKO. This led Riddle to scooter out and chase the wheelchair-bound Miz around the ring.

Somehow, this assistance pissed off and distracted Orton, allowing Morrison to nail Starship Pain for the win. So rather than Miz’s distraction paying off, Randy was completely thrown by his tag partner bailing him out instead.

Yeah, that makes total sense.
