Kudos to Riddle for putting out the fire(face) by beating Sheamus on Monday night, earning a spot in next week’s triple threat #1 contender’s match.

The match itself was pretty decent, with Riddle absorbing a beating from Sheamus, who was also willing to lock in a few submission holds of his own against the former MMA fighter. Both men also went for knockout punches, with Sheamus hitting a White Noise off the second turnbuckle, and Riddle nailing a Floating Bro to the floor.

In the end, Riddle managed to turn a Cloverleaf into a rollup for the pinfall, giving him a hard-fought win that felt earned, despite the rollup finish.
