1. Tag Title Magic

Once Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn won the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 39, it was a concern that they would fade in prominence as an act and become “just tag champs.”

But here we are two months later and Zayn & Owens are main-eventing Raw and getting tremendous reactions from fans in their tag title defense against Imperium. Even these typically non-reactive fans came alive for a good portion of the match, particularly the last 5-10 minutes, with KO’s hot tag and running wild sequence on Gunther getting a tremendous reaction.

The match represented Owens getting a modicum of revenge on Gunther for last week’s loss, taking the Intercontinental Champion out on the floor to allow Sami to get the with a Blue Thunder Bomb on Ludwig Kaiser.

It’s not clear how long KO and Zayn will hold the tag titles, but they’ve certainly cracked the code with fans, so WWE would be smart to ride that horse for a while.
