6 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (Feb 8)

2. Tag Champs Look Like Epic Goofs

We’re supposed to believe that Nia Jax & Shayna Baszler are dominant world-beaters, but yet one gets duped and defeated by an incompetent wrestler who can’t beat anyone else, and the other lacks the concentration to focus on an opponent and gets rolled up in the same night.

After Jax’s escapades with Lana unfolded, Naomi and Shayna tangled before a commercial break. When we came back, the two were having a 1-on-1 match that barely lasted three minutes. It was a decent little bout, reminding you that Naomi can add something to the women’s division, but Baszler went out to attack Lana, and then immediately got rolled up as she re-entered the ring.

World-beaters. Rolled up and shoved through a table. Naomi and Lana should just bring a few banana peels with them to their eventual tag title match – there’s a good chance one of the heels will take a tumble and get pinned.
