6 Ups & 8 Downs From AEW Dark (Oct 13)

1. Jungle Boy vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Evil Uno vs. The Blade

Jungle Boy Luchasaurus

This felt like a hybrid of a standard WWE two-in/two/out Fatal Four Way and one of those wild multi-man scrambles you see on every modern indie card. It was a lot of fun, with fast, fluid exchanges, plenty of shine for everybody, and no real fat, as the wrestlers maximised their minutes in an opener that should probably have headlined.

Evil Uno had the standout performance. One big, heelish moment saw him unravel his wrist tape as a weapon, only for it to be confiscated by the referee. He used this distraction to unravel more tape and finally score the advantage. Whether levelling up with snappy offense or acting the d*ckhead, he put in a good showing.

Jungle Boy ended up pinning The Dark Order man in a moment of quick thinking. A huge brawl broke out afterwards, with The Butcher, other Dark Order Members, Christopher Daniels, and Marko Stunt getting involved, culminating in Luchasaurus wrecking every heel with his big kicks.
