6 Ups & 8 Downs From AEW Dark (Oct 13)

6. Colt Cabana vs. Griff Garrison

Evil Uno Colt Cabana
AEW

Evil Uno was overbearing at ringside as Colt Cabana wrestled Griff Garrison. The ongoing storyline is that he is trying to coach Cabana through his matches, sculpting him into a better fit for the Dark Order, with middling success. That was in play here, with Uno constantly encouraging his charge from the ramp.

This story already feels like it's growing long in the tooth. Cabana needs some kind of serious character development before it becomes interesting again, though he was able to score the victory via Billy Goat Curse submission. This came in a match dominated by Uno's presence.

If you're still invested in what's going on with these guys, you probably got more out of the match than your writer.
