3. Indi Hartwell Gets Carried A-Way

Making her first NXT appearance since her team were on the losing side at NXT TakeOver: WarGames, Shotzi Blackheart seemed focused on taking part of Candice LeRae's posse down a peg or two.

After making her way to the ring on her sparkly new tank, Blackheart went straight after her opponent - Indi Hartwell. Dominating LeRae's protégé from the get-go, the green-haired ass-kicker nailed Hartwell with a number of well-timed kicks and a violent looking senton into the bottom turnbuckle.

Then, just when it seemed like LeRae had done enough to distract the ref and open the door for a Hartwell victory via Shotzi-headed-doll trophy, the official turned around and caught the apprentice in the act. Blackheart therefore picked up the DQ win, but The Way weren't finished.

Once a concerned LeRae had retrieved her fallen trophy from the hands of Hartwell, the "Poison Pixie" then finished off Blackheart with a Hartwell-assisted Wicked Step-Sister.

Between Hartwell's attempts to impress The Way and Austin Theory's own trial of sorts earlier in the night, it appears Gargano and LeRae's new allies are doing everything in their power to prove they deserve to be mentored by the two heelish entities. Tonight's showing highlighted that Hartwell still has a way to go before she's quite on their dastardly level, but watching her grow into NXT's latest rotten wrestler will no doubt be an interesting ride over the next few months.
