1. WALTER Arrives

Even if you don’t know much about WALTER, just seeing him walk out at the very end of the PPV and hearing the crowd’s reaction told you what you needed to know.

During the course of Pete Dunne’s successful title defense against Joe Coffey, Nigel McGuinness ran down the list of men the Bruiserweight has toppled during his 600-plus days holding the WWE United Kingdom Championship. The list ran on and on and on: Tyler Bate, Wolfgang, Johnny Gargano, Zack Gibson, Roderick Strong, Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Jack Gallagher, Noam Dar, Danny Burch and Jordan Devlin among them.

So with nearly the entire NXT and NXT UK rosters having fallen to Dunne, we met the man who very likely could stop the Bruiserweight’s reign: WALTER. His imposing presence alone was enough to make you realize that he is going to be Dunne’s toughest challenge yet.

And that is a hell of a way to close out NXT UK’s first TakeOver event.
