Does anyone remember when tag team wrestling in NXT just... wasn't a thing?

A bit of a joke to some, a laughing stock when compared to its competition, at the very best an afterthought to WWE, the strides made in it since WrestleMania have been quietly very impressive. Even the fact that the division's most entertaining asset (Grizzled Young Veterans, in case you're wondering) being stuck on the other side of an ocean hasn't killed the momentum.

So NXT got underway this week with tag-team championship matches bookending the entire show. Breezango and Imperium went in at it in the year's most improbably entertaining feud, and Sasha Banks and Bayley returned to their spiritual home to defend the women's belts against Tegan Nox and Shotzi Blackheart. For a division that only had two title matches between August and February, that's quite the turnaround.

Meanwhile, the situation with all the Top Guys is becoming something of a mess. With challenges for the North American and NXT Championships beginning to overlap, all while the Undisputed Era enter their biggest period of turmoil since debuting in the company. There's plenty to sort out, and only 2 hours to do it in, so let's see what treats are instore...
