Hopefully, WWE is paying attention to the stars who are performing in the Cruiserweight Classic and is evaluating each wrestler to see if they belong in NXT after the tournament is over.

One wrestler who hopefully got WWE’s attention was Cedric Alexander, who toppled Clement Petiot in their first-round match Wednesday night. Alexander expertly played up to the fans without detracting from the match, busting out some high-flying moves to counter Petiot’s strength and strikes. Alexander looked like he was chiseled out of stone and gave fans a great little performance en route to victory.

Hopefully, Alexander will get more chances to compete in a WWE ring (besides his upcoming second-round bout against Kota Ibushi).
