The old, “Anything you can do, I can do better” was a big part of the Ricochet/Velveteen Dream match at TakeOver: Chicago.

Dream had been repeating that mantra throughout the buildup to their match, and he immediately tried to prove it by hitting some of Ricochet’s signature dives and moves. That in turn gave Ricochet license to hit Dream with his own Purple Rainmaker and Death Valley Bomb.

But they weren’t limited to ripping each other off. The two laid into each other with some vicious moves, including a Dream suplex to the floor. Velveteen laid in the badmouth too (“You belong in a bingo hall!”), but he ultimately got too cocky in trying to leap the length of the ring, which was a crucial mistake.

One 630 senton later, and Ricochet had one-upped the Dream.
