3. Here Comes The Bride

After last week's abrupt proposal left the CWC clearly wanting more, Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell were quick to confirm that fans wouldn't have to wait too long for their wedding day. As McKenzie Mitchell revealed whilst reading off her hand-drawn invite, the two will tie the knot on September 14, so be sure to mark it down in your calendars, you lucky souls.

You'd like to believe NXT can do something interesting and fresh with a trope that has been a stain on the wrestling industry for the longest time, but it's not hard to see why hopes aren't too high coming into what will no doubt be another annoying slice of hokey, hot-shotted "fun". Love is all well and good, even when pumped into a wrestling storyline, but the lack of chemistry between the performers, evidenced again in another jarring kissing exchange in front of an unsettled Mitchell, isn't giving folks much of a reason to believe there's a fruitful future for this apparently lovestruck pair, and the sheer speed of their relationship's development in the last few week's leads you to believe sh*t is about to royally hit the fan.

Let's just get the car-crash out of the way and hope Hartwell can go onto brighter things in the wake of In-Dex's inevitable end.
