During his run in NXT, Tye Dillinger has become a cult favorite, with fans chanting “10!” at every turn when he’s in the ring. It’s made him one of the bigger stars in the company, despite being little more than a midcard act.

Saturday night at TakeOver, Dillinger got to unleash a little more offense than usual and open things up a bit. He threw Eric Young around, took on all three members of SAnitY at once and had the crowd rallying behind him big time. It looked like he was finally going to put it all together, but ultimately, the numbers game caught up to him.

Dillinger might be on his way out the door of NXT (to bigger and better things), but it was good to see him fire up and throw down in this match. It showed he’s got more than 10 fingers going for him.
