The first 15 minutes (or maybe longer, time was standing still) of the Bloodline Civil War was an absolute snooze. Like, severe narcolepsy setting in. Then, all hell broke loose.

The final 12 minutes or so of the tag match absolutely ruled, with Roman Reigns finally losing a match by pinfall when Jey Uso covered him for the three count. The drama of the final minutes were naturally off the charts, as they are for nearly all Bloodline matches: false finishes, a ref bump, double-team killshots, and a freaked-out crowd.

Ultimately, Roman – not Solo Sikoa – took the fall for the first time since December 2019, presumably setting up a singles bout between Reigns and Jey Uso.

As great as the climax was and as much as you might luxuriate in the drama, this overall was not a great match. There was a ton of stalling or padding in the beginning to artificially build tension and heft, just to get to the drawn-out drama. It was good, but you also had to steel yourself for the slow build.
