It’s good to see someone play perfectly to their character on Raw, and Kevin Owens is one of the best at that.

Owens came out to congratulate Braun Strowman on winning the Money in the Bank ladder match on Sunday night, but his praise wasn’t without strings. KO quickly switched gears and laid out a proposition to Strowman: Neither of them have friends, so maybe they could watch each other’s back.

Give Owens credit: He didn’t try to paint it as them being besties, but flat-out said that they could use each other to get what they want. KO would help Braun cash in the MITB briefcase successfully, and Strowman would give Kevin a Universal Championship match.

Braun however wasn’t having it, held onto a handshake and attempted a powerslam. KO escaped, but his plan was clearly thwarted. Good to know that he hasn’t changed though.
