6 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 19)

3. Cass Breaks Out

Following through on the early warning, here’s the other side of the coin.

So Big Cass finally had enough of Enzo Amore’s mouth writing checks that his butt couldn’t cash. He was tired of carrying around the dead weight of a tag partner who held him back from stardom. Cass accused Enzo of being the reason that he has never been a champion in WWE.

And you know what? He might be onto something. Enzo had been the weak link in their tag title opportunities in NXT and WWE. He often ran his mouth to the point where he put himself (and Cass) into the crosshairs (anyone remember the Rusev feud with Enzo hitting on Lana?), forcing Cass to have to bail them out.

While seeing this team break up so soon into their WWE run (just over a year) is disappointing, there is the potential for Cass to have a strong run. If this plays out, then it will be worth it. But if he just becomes another guy in the fold, then you trashed a popular tag team just to have another midcard hand.
