5. ‘Bear’ly An Upgrade

If you said that second- and third-generation wrestlers dressing up as dancing bears would be an upgrade for them, many would doubt that that could be true.

And yet, there were Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, pulling off their bear costume heads after beating up Dean Ambrose at the Miz’s direction. The two former Social Outcasts agreed to serve as Miz’s entourage after the Intercontinental Champion berated them for being little more than background characters. (“I’ll go on to be Intercontinental Champion… and (Axel will) have a backstage match with catering.”)

Granted, we shouldn’t see Dallas and Axel in the bear costumes going forward, and Miz has been hot on the mic as an antagonist. Having an entourage to carry out his bidding could be a fun development and breathe some new life into his latest run as IC champ.
