6 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Nov 19)

4. Revenge, With Stakes

Braun Strowman Baron Corbin

Braun Strowman getting his hands on Baron Corbin after the acting GM cost the Monster his Universal Championship match at Crown Jewel should be enough of an enticement, but bully on WWE for adding even more gravity to the match.

Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon added a couple stips to the match, noting that if Corbin won, he’d become permanent GM, and if Strowman is victorious at TLC, then he would get Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Royal Rumble, and Baron would be out of a job.

That’s a hell of a way to add some heft to the match, with an incentive for each man to win beyond just preventing the other from getting what he wants. Hopefully, both men will pull out the stops in their TLC match, because it now warrants it.
