Holy hell, the UK Championship match between Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne was an absolute barn-burner.

The two Brits tore into each other with everything in their arsenal, with Bate breaking out a corkscrew 450 splash and deadlifting the Bruiserweight, and Dunne using an X-plex on the apron and a suplex into a powerbomb. The action was too fast and furious to catalog, but let’s just note that the crowd was certainly justified with its repeated “UK! UK! UK!” and “Fight forever!” chants. And when an exhausted Bate and Dunne leaned on each other and kept swinging, it encapsulated everything good about that match.

In the end, it was Dunne with the Bitter End to win the UK Championship and most likely set up a rivalry between he and Bate that could carry the new UK WWE Network program in the early-going.
