More on the actual process to get to this point, but Roman Reigns’ victory in the Elimination Chamber presents us with something that has the potential to be a disaster: the buildup to WrestleMania itself.

Remember 2015? Remember all the promos with Paul Heyman trying to put over Reigns as a “Samoan badass” and the like? We’re in for more of that. Given how Braun Strowman attacked Roman at the end of the PPV, we’ll probably see Reigns have to dispatch of the monster, just to prove that the Big Dog is the Alpha Dog.

Let’s be honest: this is a WrestleMania rematch that not many were clamoring for. It might be a good bout, but it’s not something that anyone other than Reigns’ diehard fans are desperate to see. The buildup is something that might surprise us, but right now, it’s not something to look forward to.
