So you have your (sort of) reigning NXT Tag Team Champions on Raw every week acting as emcees. We’ve tagged that as a moderate “down” because they really should be competing, but it’s good that the audience is getting introduced to the duo.

But Monday, the Street Profits announced a “tag team turmoil” match – really just a gauntlet match for tag teams – to crown the new #1 contenders for the Raw Tag Team Championships. And guess which tag team that’s on Raw every week was not announced as part of the tag team turmoil?

Yup. It’s a weird dynamic already, with Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins playing pseudo-hosts each week, but having a capable tag team announce a match and not participate in it – when the B-Team, Lucha House Party and Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins are – is just plain bad form.

Even in character, shouldn’t Street Profits want a piece of the action?
