6 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 8)

4. Opening With Action

We’ve handed out kudos to WWE for starting Raw with in-ring action rather than a lengthy promo, and this week is no different.

However, we’ll give extra marks because Raw opened with an all-action mixed tag bout between Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch and Andrade & Zelina Vega. The bout was solid and got over the potential issue of the two champs’ relationship costing them. Andrade accidentally ran into Becky, which prompted Seth to check on her, leading to Andrade gaining control and almost winning the match.

No one really expects Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans to leave Extreme Rules as the top two champions on Raw, but adding the “drama” of Rollins and Lynch’s relationship possibly hindering them is fine for these purposes.
