6 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (May 15)

5. Sami The Putz

Man, someone really high up must hate Sami Zayn. And in turn, this writer hates that person.

On SmackDown, Zayn is being defined more and more by his backstage neuroses, as he grates and annoys other wrestlers with his rambling, somewhat insecure comments. But even though he’s not on Raw anymore, that didn’t mean that the red brand couldn’t get in a dig against Sami.

Kurt Angle was in his office on his phone talking to Zayn, telling him that he had seen him on SmackDown and that he was doing great, then told him he’d call him back, insisting that he call Sami, not vice-versa – the implication being that he didn’t want to be annoyed by Zayn calling him again.

It’s just overkill, and it felt petty on Monday.
