4. A Golden Oldie

After months upon months of doing next-to-nothing of note, the Golden Truth has come more in focus in recent weeks, seeking an opportunity to rekindle that spark as a team.

But after last week’s disappointing loss in a tag team turmoil match, Goldust apparently had had enough, and Monday night, he turned on R-Truth viciously, beating him down for several minutes before their scheduled match against the Club. Goldust kicked, punched and threw Truth into the barricade, leaving him in a heap.

Sure, that means that we’re down a tag team in a limited division, but it’s not like the Golden Truth was doing anything relevant. Plus, Goldust hasn’t really been a serious competitor in a couple years. It might not lead to anything significant, this could be a nice change of pace in the sunset of his career. And if Truth becomes unhinged again… hoo-boy.
