6 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (October 15)

1. Rousey Gets Rowdy On The Mic

Ever since she debuted in WWE earlier this year, Ronda Rousey has been the antithesis of what you’d expect of her: a smiling babyface. Rousey laughs and waves to fans each week like she’s a homecoming queen, which runs counter to what you’d think a total badass would do.

And after months of tepid promos and countless smiles, Rousey took off the gloves and laid into a couple natural heels: the Bella Twins. Ronda didn’t pull any punches, saying the Divas Era made her sick to her stomach, that the Bellas got far with the minimum amount of talent, and that they were stereotypes.

But Rousey’s toughest barbs came at expense of Nikki and Brie’s significant others (or ex-boyfriend). She said they leeched off their men (John Cena and Daniel Bryan respectively) and plagiarized their movesets. And the only door Nikki ever knocked down was Cena’s bedroom door – which he kicked her out of recently.

BURN.

This promo, and Ronda’s beatdown of security later, did more to put Rousey over as a serious a**-kicker than anything else she’s done on Raw, short of powerbombing Alexa Bliss through a table.
