When a match is unannounced and takes place on the PPV pre-show, it often is a throwaway bout, something that lasts about five minutes and is pretty nondescript.

But Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews put on a nice little match that showed that both have some potential. Crews has been hampered by an inability to connect with the crowd, and he showed flashes of rallying fans to his side, while Corbin displayed some athletic ability and held his own in the match.

Yes, this match did not really have stakes, nor will it likely have a lasting impact, but it was a good match between two young talents, showing fans a positive on the undercard.
