6 Ups And 6 Downs From WWE Hell In A Cell 2017

5. Cheap Finish

Natalya Charlotte Flair

Let’s get this straight: Natalya spent an entire match working over Charlotte Flair’s knee, only to give up and just bash her with a chair for the DQ?

Who booked this crap?

Seriously, what a waste of 10 minutes. This wasn’t as if Charlotte was locked in the Sharpshooter for an extended period multiple times and refused to give up, or as if she nearly beat Nattie a few times. The champ was largely in control for much of the match. She hit a moonsault to the floor for her first big move in a while, prompting Natalya to grab a chair.

It was a horribly disappointing ending to a match billed as the next chapter in a “storied” rivalry between the Harts and the Flairs. In reality, it’s a chapter best left unwritten… at least at this point.
