6 Ups And 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 12)
1. Pull-Apart Opens Things Up

Want to make a title match look like an epic struggle between two behemoths? Then have them tangle in a brawl that can barely be controlled or contained. When done right and not too often, such a melee can be extremely successful.
Monday night, we got just that, with Paul Heyman running down Samoa Joe for his choke-out of the advocate last week. Heyman of course was flanked by Brock Lesnar, who wasn’t backing down. Neither was Joe, who headbutted Brock, and the battle was on. Security came out to break up the donnybrook, but failed, so half the roster poured out to separate the two, finally succeeding in getting them apart.
We don’t see such a pull-apart too often in WWE, which is a good thing. (The last one involving Brock was with Undertaker, correct?) If anything, Monday’s brawl made Samoa Joe look dangerous and on Brock’s level – at least for now.
