We already know we’re witnessing the end of one WWE career when Kurt Angle squares off with Baron Corbin at WrestleMania, but we also could be seeing the end of Triple H’s career if he loses to Batista.

Hunter’s promo was a lot different than his last couple on this subject, as he joked with the audience, dropped mini-truth bombs, and even sprinkled in a Spice Girls reference.

Critically speaking, if Triple H was as pissed as he’s supposed to be, then he shouldn’t be cracking jokes and making light of the situation before turning back to serious Hunter. He didn’t need to yell his way through his promo, but the joking just felt like it was a little out of character at the time, though not terribly so.

Oh, and does anyone think he’s going to lose this one? Stranger things have happened, but we’ll just leave this here as a gentle positive with The Game hitting enough of the right chords to make this work.
