6 Ups And 7 Downs From WWE Elimination Chamber 2019

1. An Overbooked Mess

WWE sure has its finger on the pulse, because clearly what everyone really wanted Sunday night was a long, drawn-out, plodding, overbooked-within-an-inch-of-its-life match with Baron Corbin defeating Braun Strowman.

The no-DQ match featured Corbin on slow-motion offense, but it livened up as Strowman picked up the pace and nailed a powerslam through a table. However, any enjoyment was short-lived when Drew McIntyre came out to distract him so Bobby Lashley could wallop him with a steel chair.

From there, all three men slowly pummeled Strowman and cut off every comeback, culminating in a triple powerbomb through a table stack. And then Baron pinned Braun to end this abomination.

It’s just all-around stupid. This could have been a Raw match, or a Strowman squash followed by post-match beatdown, but instead we got that. Uggh.
