You don’t often get to say that a storyline has a definitive ending, but we can hope that the Finn Balor/Bray Wyatt feud has indeed reached a climax after Sunday’s match.

Wyatt and Balor split their first two matches, with Finn (spray-painted as the Demon) defeating Bray at SummerSlam. Sunday’s match was dubbed as a “man versus man” match with Balor forbidden to channel his inner Demon. (Although Bray was apparently allowed to channel his “godlike” delusions.)

Bray jumped Finn before the match and injured him, then kept on the pressure throughout, while Balor gritted through it all. He gutted it out and overcame Wyatt, finally delivering a Coup de Grace for the win. It actually tied things up nicely, with Balor keeping the Demon under wraps and overcoming a sneak attack to win.

Of course, we’ll probably get more “mindgames” from Bray on Raw, because the feud must continue. Let’s just hope that this represented an ending, not another stop on the ride.
