You had to know something was amiss when Triple H and Stephanie McMahon capitulated so easily to Becky Lynch after she finally apologized.

And we didn’t waste any time in finding out that that “something” was Vince McMahon, who did not accept Lynch’s apology and suspended her for 60 days – carrying through WrestleMania – and then replaced her in the Raw Women’s Championship match with… Charlotte Flair.

Can you feel the bile and rage building?

Good, because WWE is counting on it.

We now have a storyline to carry for the next two months, with Becky trying to find a way back into her earned title shot, likely as a triple threat with Flair and Ronda Rousey. Prediction: Lynch has to win a match of some sort at Fastlane next month to re-earn her title shot.

This should make the next several weeks pretty interesting, and fans will clearly have plenty of reason to hate on Charlotte.

Buckle up.
