6 Ups And 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 1)

1. Styles Goes Clubbing

Really, it was only a matter of time before AJ Styles abandoned his babyface ways.

Styles clearly wasn’t happy losing his United States Championship match against Ricochet, and at the urging of the Good Brothers, he decked the champ and turned heel for the first time in a good while. The Club reunited to beat down Ricochet and leave him laid out in the middle of the ring in convincing style.

Seeing AJ, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows standing tall to close out Raw was a nice change of pace, and if WWE really follows through here, they could have an interesting dynamic with a real heel stable here.

Of course, that depends on whether this new regime follows through on stuff like that or gets bored after two weeks.
