Downs...

8. An Underwhelming Debut

Let’s set aside the technical error that led to a debuting tag team being shown on the screen during the opening of Raw.

But the Street Profits’ introduction to the WWE main roster was pretty lackluster, doing a backstage interview where they goofed around – which is their normal shtick in NXT – and Montez Ford proclaimed that they wanted “the smoke” over and over. Later, they showed up to bug Paul Heyman for a minute.

Not every wrestler can debut with pyro and win a big-time match on their first night. But the NXT Tag Team Champions showing up in a backstage interview where they don’t say anything of note? Sorry, that’s not cutting it.
